Day 6 Summary
So is it done?
I did say that I was going to release it today, but an unexpected trip delayed the game. What would a jam be without delays?
But hey, here's the first screenshot! And you can even see visual studio in the background!
The ๆ kanji dictates health. Notably the actual meaning of the word - cloudy, foggy, etc. doesn't really represent the game. But hey, you fall from the heavens, into a liminal grass hellscape. Notably I'm very lazy with the background. It's just a grass texture, but it fits the game really well. I kind of love the feeling it gives. Tomorrow I will add grass footstep sounds, and a couple more enemies, and then the waves and the rest of the game basically. It's very very close to being a finished project, and I'm happy with how it has gone.
Good luck to the other participants! I look forward to seeing what everyone else does, although I really don't have much time to vote on 1000 releases (I aim to do 100!).
