Devlog 5
It's a little scary getting so close to the deadline - and I'm also incredibly happy for the extension even if it's just for a couple days. However, this is a quick writeup of what is included so far.
UI
The inventory and dialogue is almost completely done, and functioning perfectly. I'm omitting screenshots purely because I need to submit this sooner rather than later - but the point is that they are done. There's minor inconsistencies with the graphics, because I'm switching between pixel and vector graphics, however I'm simply ignoring it (and I don't really want to go searching for a new font.)
Assets
All rooms are finally completed and connected, now ready to be filled up with a lot of objects. The first model is also completed, I'm going to switch out full modelling for paper cut outs. This gives some separation between the player and these characters, which helps with the premise.
Now - I need to quickly implement the rest of the game (Slightly panicked - but I'm using this devlog as a short intermission before continuing.)
